During my CPS work, I come across quite a few unique carseats.  So far they have ranged in age from 10 to 18 years old.

This Evenflo Dyno-O-Mite was made in July of 1985.  I bought it for $3 at a yard sale.

*Some* of the seats confiscated at the BoostAmerica event in Nashville last fall.  You can barely see an old brown vinyl seat to the left - an Evenflo Kantwet.  I have taken 2 of these from families, and seen a couple more in use that I couldn't get to.  They are about 15 years old.

A Fisher Price Infant Tshield seat - made in 1993.  I paid $4 for it at a yard sale (child care provider going out of business).   I did like the colors on this seat - just not the Tshield.

Bought at the same yard sale for $4 - a FP Tshield.  There is no DOM, but the tags say 1984, which would be about right.  It has the button on the harness that was recalled, but not the dark/black shield of the slightly older models.

Same yard sale, another $4.  This Explorer is "only" 8 years old.  The shield is not removable like its current counterpart, the Grand Explorer.

This is the same Kantwet from the "group photo" above.  It was actually being used when we confiscated it.  There was no DOM.

This is another Tshield, bought from a grandmother at a consignment sale.  It is the older model, with the black shield.  No DOM, but in the 18 year old range.

More to come soon.
